Now that it is November, the countdown to Christmas has officially begun (yay), and the present buying has commenced! I’ve put together my Top 10 picks for those Disney inspired gifts this holiday season…
Maple and Whisky Candle Company
If you have a loved one in your life who loves the Disney parks and resorts as much as some (*a-hem*), then they need some Disney inspired scents in their life, and the Maple and Whisky Candle Company is the place to go! Choose from candles, melts, room sprays or reed diffusers in a huge variety of scents to take you right back to the most magical place on earth. We were very lucky to be sent some candles to try, and now not an evening goes by that our house doesn’t smell of Art of Animation, Animal Kingdom Lodge or the Main Street Bakery! Heaven. We have so many more on our list that we plan to add to the collection. *Use the code SIAN10 for 10% off your order until the end of the year!*
Shop Disney Soft Toys
Every Disney lover needs lots of plush toys, it’s a requirement to the ‘Disney fan’ name tag right?! Shop Disney are offering all medium soft toys at half price with FREE personalisation, that’s just £12.50!! That is a total bargain, and definitely something to make the most of whilst it’s available. The difficult task is deciding which one to have! Try not to spend too much money on ShopDisney whilst you’re there though…
Uniqlo has always been one of our first port of calls for Disney themed clothing in the UK. The prices are really reasonable, the quality is excellent, plus you can clothe the entire family from one shop! My top choices are this Kids Graphic Mickey Tee which is reduced to just £2.90, this Women’s Mickey sweatshirt for £19.90, and this Mens Mickey Graphic Tee for just £12.90.
Personalised book from The Gift Experience
This great family shop offer all kinds of personalised gifts and experiences, but the most exciting is these personalised Disney books. Choose from a wide range of stories, and bring yours or your child’s name to life in the book!
Every Disney lover needs an ever expanding ear collection, and over the past few months I have found a few small shops that make beautiful ears in the UK. As well as supporting small shops, you can request exactly what you want or choose from the amazing designs available. Head to MaleficEars or Chasing Childhood to have a look at just some of the ears on offer.
Disney Knot Headbands
If ears aren’t your thing, then how about a themed Disney knot headband? I will be putting a few of these on my own Christmas list! For just £10 they will complete any Disney outfit, head to Magic and Mainstreet to choose your favourite design! Any Disney lover will love unwrapping these on Christmas Day!
One of the many Disney trends at the minute is the themed cozy for your Starbucks cup (other coffee chains are available…)! Pixie Dust Crochet make just that and they’re perfect! This would make a great stocking filler, whilst being useful at the same time, win win! I’ll have a classic Mickey one please… *Use code SPOTOFDISNEY10 for 10% off your order*
For anybody visiting the most magical place on earth, a Disney shirt is essential!! There are SO many small shops to choose from that it is a bit of a minefield knowing where to start. The T-shirts top of my list are from Magical Day Apparel. Simple, understated, affordable, but so on-theme. It also helps that it is run by the lovely Yaz and Ash, some of the first people to connect with us when we started our Disney Instagram page! Any Disney fan would be so pleased to receive one of these shirts.
Lillian and Co Jewellery
I absolutely adore the jewellery from Lillian and Co, the messages portrayed are so perfect for a Disney lover and would be a really meaningful gift to receive (take it from me, this is a good one!). Whether it’s commemorating an achievement, remembering a favourite film or wearing your own personal Disney motto, these bracelets and necklaces are gorgeous, and add that little bit of Disney to an outfit.
Cath Kidston x Disney
The regular collections released by Cath Kidston in conjunction with Disney are really beautiful, and offer a wide range of products to suit all budgets. With the recent Mickey 90th collection you’d be gifting a product that has a classic Mickey design, whilst knowing you are guaranteed the quality that Cath Kidston are renowned for. Choices include this £12 mug, £20 purse, or this beautiful backpack for £55.
And there you have it, my Christmas gift guide for anything and everything Disney related.
Instagram and Etsy are amazing platforms for small shops so always check them out when looking for Disney merchandise! Other high street shops that regularly stock Disney merchandise include Next, H&M, Primark, Asda and Forever 21.
